History
The Rambling House has been a joy from the very beginning. Construction began around the time of the
September 11th, 2001 tragedy, and it was an uplifting spectacle to behold. The plans to expand on the former Tara Hill Pub were finally completed, and the lights went on at The Rambling House! Opening Night festivities brought in the happy customers for a good old unforgettable evening of high jinks. The celebration hasn’t stopped ever since….
The Rambling offers great live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Patrons flock from far and wide
to experience the energy-filled atmosphere. The centerpiece is their new, square-shaped bar, spacious and open yet still cozy. But it’s not only a great bar and entertainment center—The Rambling House is also a top-notch restaurant seating over 90 customers. Come hungry, because you’ll eat well! And you’ll find plenty to choose from. The menu includes sizzling steaks, fresh fish, and tasty pasta dishes served on piping hot platters, plus a variety of traditional Irish dishes and a bar menu offered until 2:00 a.m. The hard part will be choosing just one dish (no, the girl at the next table doesn’t count!).
Their interior décor is intriguing, too. Antique artifacts around the walls, well-stocked shelves in display cabinets, and hundreds of exciting sports photos on the walls stir up fond memories of years gone by.
